French Vanilla
My favourite use of the word "French" is to pair it with "Vanilla" and then drink it.
Coffee. How do people start their day without a fresh, hot cup of java in their hand, helping prepare them for the challenges that lie ahead? I know that coffee is not the most nutritional way to kick off every day, but this is where you have to balance health with sanity. I am a much nicer person after a cup of coffee, and downright sweet after two cups! So when I say balance sanity with health, I'm really talking about the sanity of my husband or co-workers or whoever may be around each morning when I'm consuming my 'cafe au lait'. They would lose their minds if they had to deal with a coffee-less Ashli.
Living in North Hatley has its bonuses. The ribs at The Pilsen are wicked, and as I mentioned previously, the view here is stunning. Our local grocer still runs tabs for its regulars, and parking is like $2 an hour. BUT there's no place to get any specialty coffee. No Second Cup, no Starbucks (can you believe it???? A place in North America that's Starbucks-less??? And the number of Americans that come here in the summer/fall months must be stunned to find no Starbucks to spend their millions on)...
So I drink my Van Huete, brewed at home, which is NEVER the same as ordering coffee to go. But I'm off to the Big Smoke this weekend for a wedding and you can bet I'll be drinking lattes and -ccinos all weekend long.

Where's the Big Smoke?
If they deliver to Canada, you should get Gevalia coffee (www.gevalia.com). It's good stuff.
